About Tina

Tina brings a rich tapestry of global experiences to her teaching. A native Mandarin speaker from China, she is also fluent in Cantonese and English. Tina's international travels and studies have given her a unique perspective that enhances her diverse classes, ranging from Chinese Calligraphy and Culture Festivals to Social Etiquette and Dessert Pairing. With a BA in Business Management from UCSC, an MBA from Golden Gate University, and a culinary degree from Le Cordon Bleu, Tina combines academic excellence with practical skills. She has a profound love for working with children, developed through teaching English at a summer camp for five years and volunteering at a Special Needs Children Center for four years. An animal lover, Tina has also volunteered at elephant sanctuaries in Thailand and Kenya. Her warmth and multifaceted background make her an exceptional educator dedicated to enriching the lives of all her students.
