About Loren

Loren is a passionate educator dedicated to inspiring young minds through her diverse teaching experiences and interests. A native Spanish speaker and biomedical engineering student, she has spent six years nurturing children as a teacher's assistant, summer camp leader, tutor, and babysitter. Loren brings expertise in teaching Spanish, reading, writing, math, science, and chess across both Honduras and the United States. Her love for astronomy, art, and history enriches her teaching, making learning an exciting adventure. In her free time, Loren enjoys playing chess, swimming, boxing, exploring poetry, and visiting museums.

It went great. Kids used the robotic hand to pick up the trash and clean up the classroom at the end of the class just for fun

We worked in a robotic hand machine made out of a plastic cup, some construction paper and a straw. Kids loved it!

The students had a great time and were engaged throughout the lesson. I saw some pictures and the structures that they built were all unique and very complex. It resembles molecule structures from chemistry, which looks like the main focus of the class.
