Class reflections

We used egg cartons and other types of recyclable materials to make catapults.

Not as well as expected, students were having trouble making the craft and got a little bored in the end

I introduced myself and what we would be doing in the class. I asked them any ideas they had for the class to see if they wanted to try something they wanted to make. Since it was the first day, we made name tags out of tissue paper boxes. I got to know more about them as they made their project. After, the kids made their own projects out of more tissue boxes and we playing games like Simon Says.

I was very nervous, but it went better than I expected. The hardest thing to do was to get some of the kidsโ€™ attention and be interested in the project, but overall they seemed to have fun.
