what ages does grasshopper kids serve?

Grasshopper experiences are for all children ages 3 - 12 years old.

Can friends join my child's experience?

Many families book Grasshopper experiences together, and experiences are absolutely doable and loads of fun with friends. In fact, it's cheaper with friends, too! You can book together, or add friends to experiences (they can register and pay for their kids or you can) after you've booked.

Does Grasshopper do birthday parties and events?

Yes! Our experiences can be booked for parties of up to 10 kids, and we love to develop custom experiences for special events! If there is something specific your child would like, let us know!

How does Grasshopper vet teachers and ensure quality?

We identify and recruit individuals with prior teaching experience, conduct thorough interviews, and perform a full background check.

Every experience is workshopped before sharing with the Grasshopper community. After experiences we ask parents to review teachers, kids' experiences, and Grasshopper's service.

At Grasshopper, it is of the utmost importance that both teachers and experiences leave kids and families feeling fulfilled and yearning for what is next.

How much does Grasshopper cost?

Every experience is 2 hours in length and happens at your home. For up to 2 kids, the cost is $120 total. When 3 or more children participate in an experience, the cost is reduced to $50 per child.

How many kids can participate in an experience?

Many experiences include up to 6 kids, and it can depend on the experience and ages of children participating. We're happy to accommodate as many kids as possible, just ask during booking.

What COVID protocols are in effect?

Grasshopper follows local public health department recommendations. Parents and guardians can indicate their preferences for face coverings throughout the experience, whether they would like the experience to be held indoors or outdoors, and teacher vaccination status.

How do i reach Grasshopper during my experience?

There is always a Grasshopper team member available while experiences are happening. With every booking, your custom experience page will include your teacher's phone number and Grasshopper's. You can reach our team anytime by calling or texting us: (720) 644-1670.

how far in advance to i need to book?

We typically need 48 hours to fulfill your request. If you're in a pinch, text us: (720) 644-1670. We have made the magic happen on a moment's notice before, but can't always guarantee it.

What if i need to cancel?

If you have or your children may have been exposed to COVID-19, please notify us immediately to reschedule your Grasshopper experience so we can ensure the safety of our teachers.

We require cancellation notice 48 hours in advance to receive a refund. If there is a day-of emergency, your account will be credited for a future experience so we can reschedule you.
