With a passion for filmmaking, psychology, languages, and visual and performing arts, she combines academic expertise with practical knowledge, aiming to help students grasp complex concepts through individualized teaching strategies. Currently pursuing her PhD in Clinical Psychology, Maya holds an Honors BA in Psychology and an MSc in Applied Clinical Neuropsychology. Outside of her academic endeavors, she enjoys fostering students' creative development in filmmaking, general arts, and enhancing their English, Spanish, and leadership skills. Maya's personal experiences have put her on many professional film sets, the knowledge and excitement of which she brings to the classroom!
