This series will take your child on a journey through the basics of dance, exploring a variety of styles including tap, jazz, ballet, contemporary, hip hop, and house. Kids will not only learn the fundamentals of each style, but also gain a well-rounded understanding of the art of dance and how traditional dance styles and forms inspired even the most modern of moves. This unique experience will elevate children's knowledge and skill sets, while boosting their confidence in all forms of dance, performance, and self-expression.
Robyn has been dancing for over 30 years, starting at the young age of just 3 years old at South San Francisco’s Schumachers School of Dance. Her work as a professional dancer includes Cirque du Soleil, Sonya Tayeh Dance Company, assistant to Choreographer for So You Think You Can Dance Ukraine, Spoleto Festival USA, America’s Got Talent, and more. She has trained extensively in many styles of dance including ballet, modern, contemporary, tap, jazz, house, and hip hop. She also spent 9 years building her dance career in NYC engaging with the city's street/club dance culture with a focus in partner dance.
