Sophia is an interdisciplinary artist and dedicated educator who grew up in Marin, exploring the Bay Area's rich artistic landscape with her family and friends. Her unique education at a Waldorf-inspired school and artistic upbringing sparked a lifelong passion for creativity. Sophia has a deep love for dance, film, and photography, nurtured from a young age. During her teenage years, she gained invaluable experience by assisting her mother in teaching aerial dance to both children and adults. A graduate of Bennington College with a B.A. in dance, film, and photography, Sophia is now back in the Bay Area where she is enthusiastically pursuing her career as an artist and educator. She finds immense joy in fostering a collaborative and imaginative space for kids to explore their creativity. Outside of work, Sophia enjoys outdoor adventures, frequenting the beach and rivers, and engaging in hobbies like knitting, cooking, gardening, and dancing.
