Welcome to a Halloween Adventure experience! Join in for a spooktacular time as kids participate in scary stories, sensory activities, and movement and games that celebrate the magical world of Halloween and all the fantastical fun it brings. Kids will start off by reading the classic trick-or-treat adventure book, “Read the Crayons Trick or Treat,” by Drew Daywalt and Oliver Jeffers. They'll explore the concept of "size" by examining the unusual creatures in the Monster Museum, and get their bodies moving with a special Halloween Freeze dance and Giants and Elves game. They'll get creative and hands-on with sensory activities that make use of Halloween cookie cutters and PlayDoh, and create Fall pattern blocks. 🎃
As a dance instructor, former ballerina, certified educator, and artist, Elisabeth brings an incredible sense of joy, enthusiasm, and play to all of her experiences. Teaching children how to pair creativity and movement, and making storytelling come alive through dance, music, and exuberance, is what gives Elisabeth flight.
