About Austin

Early Childhood Educator & Water Polo Coach

Austin is a Bay Area native and dedicated educator with a background in Early Childhood Education and Creative Writing from Whittier College. With extensive experience in water polo, martial arts, and stand-up comedy, Austin brings a unique blend of skills and a vibrant sense of humor to the classroom. In 2017, Austin began coaching water polo for the Burlingame Aquatic Club, leading the team to achieve third place in the Junior Olympics, later serving as Head Water Polo Coach for Burlingame High School. Now a professional, performing Stand Up Comic, Austin loves teaching and coaching kids of all ages in different disciplines. In Austin's own works, "There is nothing more gratifying than helping someone achieve their goals, bolster their self-esteem, build confidence and find themselves through creative, athletic and skill-based pursuits."
