It's that time of year when leprechaun's are about, and the only way to win their pot of gold is to set a trap that will fool even the cleverest, little, luck-bringer! This experience begins with reading and learning the history of St. Patrick’s Day, along with a silly St Patrick’s Day story. Building reading comprehension and writing skills throughout, children will be engaged with arts and crafts and making their very own leprechaun — for trap-testing purposes, of course! Designing and implementing a leprechaun trap is no easy feat, and kids will work together with Lauren and one another to bounce ideas off each other and come up with a trap that's sure to trick an unsuspecting leprechaun. Now what to do with all that gold? Using Lucky Charms math and STEM challenges complete with rainbows and gold coins, children will account for their well-earned riches!
