Prepare for a mind-blowing adventure with “Hands-On Science Magic: Build, Balance & Beyond”! In this exciting STEM series, kids will dive into the science behind everyday wonders. These classes will get students excited to build, invent, and explore with hands on science that can do amazing things like balance, move, and even fly. Using everyday materials and a little ingenuity, they’ll make everything from rotocopters and color mixing tops, and even their own “AcrobatMan” that can balance on just about anything. At the end of each class, students will take their projects home to share with their families.
Evan has been working in Science Education for over 25 years. His specialty is in teaching science through hands-on experimentation, and he's taught children of all ages. Growing up, his mother worked at a science museum where he spent much of his time programming. He's taught in many after school programs such as the Mill Valley Rec Center and the San Francisco Exploratorium. Evan has also taught kids engineering through LEGO construction, and has a massive LEGO collection, alongside his Transformers. A lifelong learner, Evan is a kid at heart!
