Kids are in for a real treat! The Fairytale Puppet Show is a magical experience throughout which little ones may contribute to and enjoy an enchanting puppet show featuring classic fairytales, followed by crafts and fun activities. Children's imaginations will be sparked as they watch fairytales familiar and new unfold through puppetry. Afterward, they'll reflect on the stories through a craft activity related to the tale.
Lesa left her legal career to pursue her passion for teaching children -- in fact, she's wanted to be a kindergarten teacher since she was 5 years old! She is passionate about engaging with children in meaningful ways that expand their brain- and social-emotional-development through nature-inspired activities, movement and art. She's inspired by and trained in Waldorf pedagogy, and loves to bring aspects of beauty, goodness, and warmth to expand children's curiosities about the world that surrounds them. Whenever she can, she finds ways to incorporate into her experiences simple ways to build kids' relationships with nature and sustainability, and ultimately with themselves.
Lesa has worked as an after-school program teacher and as a Kindergarten Assistant at local Waldorf schools in SF and Marin. She is CPR and First Aid Certified, and vaccinated against COVID-19.
