Bucket Drumming and Rhythm

Children will learn the basics of bucket drumming, and create their very own, signature bucket drumming rhythm during this pulsating experience. Using buckets, kids will experiment to see what types of sounds they can get their bucket to make, learn the 4 main sounds of bucket drumming, practice copycat rhythms, and work on musical notation using an anchor chart.

This experience will lay a musical foundation for kids, teaching them the difference between the beat and rhythm of a song. All of it will come together in the creation of a unique song or bucket drumming rhythm. The first of many, as children begin to build a repertoire!

This experience may include educational videos of professional bucket drumming, particularly if children are unfamiliar with this extraordinary musical technique and ability to make incredible sounds and rhythms from non-traditional instruments.

My children loved this experience!! Like absolutely loved it!! I got home and they were raving about it on and on and can’t wait for her to come back! She gave them each folders that had songs and notes and warmups and they learned all about bucket drumming and then you practiced YouTube songs and then wrote their own songs. She let them keep the buckets and sticks!! The kids were engaged the whole time and it was fabulous.
