Roar into the wild in a series designed for young anthropologists to embark on an exciting adventure into the animal kingdom! 🦁🌎 Students will dive into the fascinating world of animals, learning about diverse habitats, intricate ecosystems, and the thrilling food chain. Each session is packed with animal-themed crafts, hands-on STEM experiments and observations, and fun-filled games that spark curiosity and creativity. Children will create their own animal masks, build miniature ecosystems, and play interactive activities that bring the wonders of wildlife to life.
Carissa has been igniting young minds for over five years through her extensive experience teaching English and Math to elementary students in after-school and summer programs. With her background as an English Tutor at Ohlone College, Carissa adeptly guided ESL learners and students through college-level English courses and beyond. A UC Berkeley graduate in Molecular and Cellular Biology, with a minor in Dance and Performance Studies, she combines her passion for English, Math, Biology, Chemistry, and Dance to create engaging and multifaceted learning experiences for students of all ages. Carissa's greatest joy in teaching comes from building meaningful relationships with young students and inspiring them to discover the excitement in learning.
