With a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from UC Merced and a teaching credential from UC Berkeley, Zaira has taught forensic science at the high school level, fostering curiosity and scientific inquiry. Her love for dance, including hip hop and folklórico, and her adventurous spirit exploring national parks, infuse her teaching with creativity and joy.
