About Zaira

Zaira, a dedicated educator based in the Bay Area, is thrilled to bring her bilingual skills in Spanish and English and her cultural passion to the classroom. With a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from UC Merced and a teaching credential from UC Berkeley, Zaira has taught forensic science at the high school level, fostering curiosity and scientific inquiry. Her love for dance, including hip hop and folklórico, and her adventurous spirit exploring national parks, infuse her teaching with creativity and joy. Accompanied by her lively dog Lettie, Zaira is committed to inspiring young minds and cultivating a vibrant classroom experience.
