Superb! The right amount of messy! Students and Teacher Nichaele made it possible and fun!

I created the scraps in front of the cii hi listen to pique interest + interaction. The students engaged with enthusiasm about the stickers and collage scraps as I cut. Teacher Nichaele and students supported set up table, tablecloth, sitting cushions for outside projects. Today’s messy art experience featured finger paint, painting with ice + magical paint that we can eat! we worked with food coloring and the children ate their colorful ice after painting on a sheet of paper. They described the project as hard to wash off, cold, and delicious! The next was finger paint and the group set up circle time on tablecloth to share paint trays of primary colors. Students created different colors like teal, purple, and brown from red, blue, white, and yellow. When asked, they delightfully deemed this project the messiest β€” not sticky, watery paint. 2/3 activities complete. Planning on collage project during introduction next Friday.

It went to splendid! I feel like the students enjoyed today. I will delight next week with more stability, as I seen what to expect after today’s first day. Great support staff from team grasshopper herself! Ms Nichelle (:

Today we had our intro to the messy art experience! We do art to express ourselves, and show people how we see the world or our feelings. Taking water colors and blending on two different napkins. Seeing how paint affects the napkin and seeing light shine through colors, same as mosaic art. Taking movement to another level! Wrapping bubble wrap on feet to stomp paint onto paper. Good sense of responsibility and fun in the tasks.
